This sweet fella is Jailbird, a handsome 2-year-old California Kingsnake looking for a pet-only home. Jailbird was surrendered to us in June of 2021 with prolapsed hemipenes that had become necrotic (dead tissue). While Jailbird has fully recovered from the prolapse, his hemipenes could not be saved and therefore he is unable to breed. However, he is one of the most docile, friendly snakes you will ever meet! He is the perfect fit for families with young children or educational programs as he is very handleable and calm.
